Is content alone enough to get your site ranking shoot up?

Is content alone enough to get your site ranking shoot up

You must have heard thousand times that content is king in search engine optimization. But is it truly that important? And even if content is important, how far articles and words can push your page ranking up in search result pages.

First of all, we must face that SEO marketers can do almost nothing without content. But we don’t also deny that simple bulk-generated articles with vanilla words won’t take you anywhere. Let’s face it. All major search engines – Google, Yahoo and Bing – are assigning more weight to contents, which carry value for target audiences. If you are eager to know how a compelling content should in post-panda search engine optimization follow this article.

1. To begin with, cut down on bulk small size articles. Search engines are giving less importance to these articles. In fact, as a site owner or webmaster, we also realize that it is not always easy to make justice to topics within 500 words. According to Gorank.com, right now average page size of any Google search result stands at 943 words. The same stands at 1305 words for Yahoo search results. So, you must go for 750 words onwards articles. If budget limits, opt for less number of article but never compromise on quality.

2. Search engines can’t do away with keywords. But too much, of keywords, is not desirable. In fact, in post-panda world, Google assumes even 2% keyword density as spamming. Isn’t it a fix? However, there is a way-out. You can bypass direct keywords with synonymous keywords without distorting idea of your article. Search engines love this.

3. Search engines like authority sites. It is an open secret. But for you it won’t be easy to earn authority tag from search giants. This is even tougher for competitive keywords. We thought to have a solution.

Don’t start with industry standard keywords. Do some research and find out specific keywords. Try to make them as specific as possible. It is true that they won’t bring in heavy traffic. But if you manage to deliver top-quality articles then visitors would share them on social networks. This will earn your site authority status for those keywords and topics. And once you have authority tag for lesser known and specific keywords, no body stops you venturing into more popular keywords.

4. We often mean written articles only when talk about SEO content. But content can be information in any form – images, video, graphics, charts or audio narration. As an internet marketer, you cannot avoid them. Complement your articles with charts, images, videos and other informative pieces. Your content will be more crispy and user friendly. Besides, search engines also prefer good mix of written words along with other visual, graphical and narrative pieces.

The take away from this article is, value added SEO content never misses the bull’s eye. Understand what search engines are asking for and adjust the content style accordingly without any compromise on value.

Reasons Why You Keep Losing Twitter Followers

Reasons Why You Keep Losing Twitter Followers

Are you tired of losing more and more Twitter followers every day? You don’t have to lose them but it will require you to change what you are doing. What most people don’t realize is the reason they are losing Twitter followers is because they are the ones doing something wrong. I know you don’t want to believe it but this is a common thing that Twitter users do and unless you figure out what you are doing wrong you will keep losing the followers that you have.

Reasons You Are Losing Followers

Too Many Tweets

How many Tweets to you do every day? Are you doing too many that your followers are getting tired of seeing your updates? A lot of people Tweet too many times but if you are Tweeting things that people like, then keep doing it. Just know that some people would prefer to see fewer Tweets so make sure you figure out what your followers like the most.

Repeat Following

Do you follow and then unfollow a lot of people on a daily basis? It might be a bad idea to follow hundreds of people in a single day and that is why a lot of people will stop following you. Although this is a great way to get more followers, your actual followers might not like it. Just know that it would be better to get your followers the right way as opposed to using the system to get as many followers as you can.

No Profile

Do you have a profile on your Twitter account? If you are not using your profile to actually say what you talk about, then people will start to unfollow you. The problem that I see quite a bit is that Twitter users will add a profile that doesn’t even represent what they will be Tweeting. Just do yourself and your followers a favor and create a Twitter profile that shows what you will be Tweeting.

Affiliate Links

How many affiliate links do you post on your Twitter account? Do you add an affiliate link every few hours or do you place affiliate links every week or so? The amount of affiliate links that you Tweet will make a huge difference in the amount of people that follow you. My advice is to make sure that you are using affiliate links sparingly because this is one of the worst things that you can use in a Tweet.

Constant Replies

Are you constantly replying to Tweets other people do? Do you use hashtags whenever possible? These might be the reason for you losing your Twitter followers. The problem with putting @XXXX in your Tweet is that most people won’t know what you are talking about, this goes for hashtags too. If you want to keep the following that you have, then you need to use replies and hashtags sparingly. Trust me on this one, this is a common reason people will unfollow you. I know this for a fact because this is one of the reasons I will unfollow people as well. Most people don’t like to see a bunch of gibberish so make sure that whatever you are writing will make sense to everybody that is reading it.

Being that Twitter is a great way to get more traffic to your website you need to use it but make sure you are aware of what you are doing. I know that there is a lot of stuff that you are worried about right now but Twitter should not be one of them.

Get Visitors To Your Old Posts

Get Visitors To Your Old Posts
How many blog posts do you have on your site? If you have hundreds of posts like I do, then you are not getting visitors to all of those posts and this is a real shame. If you find it tough to get visitors to your old posts, then don’t worry because I have a few tricks to get more visitors to your posts without actually building backlinks to them and pushing them up the search engines.

Should you build backlinks to old posts? Yes, this would be the ideal thing to do but if you don’t have the time then there are other things that will work just as well. My advice would be to use BuildMyRank to do this because all you have to do is write a few short articles and then add a link to an older post. Anyway, lets get started with how you can get visitors to your old blog posts.

Repost Your Most Popular Posts

Do you have certain posts that continue to get more and more traffic each month? This is common with a lot of blogs because every once in a while you will write something called a “Pillar post” and these always work to get more backlinks which in turn get more traffic. Am I saying that you need to write more pillar posts? Well, you can but this is something that most people are not capable of doing because these posts require a lot of time and expertise in a lot of fields.

The great thing about reposting your most popular posts is that you can use this time to update that post and add anything new that may not be in it. A lot of bloggers don’t realize that they can do this but if you have a post that people like, then you know they won’t mind getting more out of it sometime in the future. Just make it known that you are reposting an article and there is more content inside because sometimes readers will click off your site the second they see a post they have already read.

Note: If you repost an article make sure you don’t change the URL of it or else you will lose all the links to that older article and the traffic might not be there anymore.

Use Related Post Plugins

There are a lot of related posts plugins that you can use with WordPress so why not use them. This is something that many people do but often times they are not using the plugin the right way. If you are going to be using related post plugins, then you need to make sure that it stands out. I know you may not know much about html or coding and if that is the case, then find somebody that does. Trust me, using a related post plugin that stands out will really make it worth your while.

Share Your Old Posts

Do you have a Facebook or Twitter account? If you don’t, then it is about time that you get them both. If you do have a Facebook and Twitter account, then I would recommend sharing some of your older posts every once in a while. If you are follow PLRInternetMarketing.com on Twitter, then you know I already do this and that is why I get a lot of traffic to some of my older posts. Just know that the more posts you have the more links you will be able to share.

Do you have an email list? If you have a decent sized email list, then maybe they want to see what you have to offer them. A lot of times the people that read your posts are the people that are on your email list so send them an email filled with some of your most visited blog posts of the past few months. I know this might seem weird but it really does work.

Top Ten Posts

Have you ever created or seen a top ten post? These are simply posts that compile a list of the top ten best posts of the month, year or whatever you decide. Sometimes these posts will be the top ten posts of a certain category. What you need to understand is that all that matters in this post is that you will get people to click through to some of your older posts. Being that this is not the type of post that you can create all the time, you should create a plan in order to do it.

There are a lot of things that you can do to get more visitors to your old post but the key is to stick to it. A lot of bloggers will say that they are going to do more to get traffic to their older posts but then they don’t do it. If you are going to try and get more traffic to your posts, then create a plan and see it through.

One other thing that I want to leave you with that isn’t a secret or anything is to just interlink to your older posts in your new articles. This is something that a lot of A-list bloggers do really well and if you can take a page out of their book, then I would recommend this to be it.

Tracking Your Link Building Efforts

Tracking Your Link Building Efforts

Google is by and large the best source of free traffic available on the web today, and in order to take full advantage of that traffic we have to pay attention to certain SEO (Search Engine Optimization) aspects which include link building. Generally speaking, the more links, and the more powerful they are, the better the rankings you can expect in the search engines.

Building links usually gets outsourced to SEO “experts” because website and blog owners think there is some secret aspect to the whole process, but truth be told there are plenty of high ranking sites out there that are being run by people just like you. They say “practice makes perfect” and with the repetitive nature of link building you’ll soon be an “expert” yourself.

When building links to your site it’s important to remember that your site is made up of inner pages as well as a homepage. Link generously to all your pages and then interlink within your site to take full advantage of the SEO benefits that come with those links.

Link diversity is something that pertains to building an assortment of links rather than focusing the majority of your time on one you might find “easy” or “comfortable”. Many people get in the habit of only using commenting as a means of getting links and totally miss out on the numerous other methods out there.

Here are a few of the links you can look at using in your own link building campaigns:

  • Blog Commenting – Also a great way to get to know other bloggers in your niche.
  • Forum posting – Most forums will allow you a signature that can include a link back to your website or blog, the more you post on those forums the more links you are effectively building from that particular site.
  • Guest Posts – This is definitely one of the best ways to get a link from many of the higher profile sites in your industry. When you consider that companies are paying anywhere from $25.00 to $75.00 or more a month for a simple text link within a blog post you truly start to see the value here.
  • Social Bookmarking – Generally these links aren’t as valuable as some others, but they are relatively easy to obtain, and adding them to your link portfolio is always a good choice.
  • Directories – Now there are premium directories like Yahoo, DMOZ, Eaton, BOTW that carry a decent amount of SEO benefit all on their own, but there are also free and low quality ones that require literally thousands to be of any use to you at all. I’d suggest investing in at least two of the premium ones, and as many of the others as you’ve got the patience to build. (Tip: RoboForm will fill out the fields on directory sites making your job a lot easier)
  • Link Exchanges – This is when blogger A links to blogger B, and blogger B reciprocates. Generally you’ll be able to choose the keyword and anchor text to be used which goes a lot further than a link using just your name, or domain name.
  • Paid Links – This is where you pay for the link on a site (usually on a monthly or annual basis). These links are against Google’s TOS (terms of service) and can get you penalized if someone reports you, or if you’re found out some other way. I’d recommend staying away from these.
  • Web 2.0 Properties are a great place to expand your reach while at the same time getting a link that can then be improved (by building links to the property itself). Squidoo, Hubpages, and Blogger are just a few of the literally hundreds that are available to use freely.

Now there are many more links a person can get such as software download sites (create, or have a piece of handy software designed and then upload it to the hundreds of high ranking software sites that are online. Images, Video’s, eBooks and more can all be used to generate links to your website. The only limits are your imagination and creativity.

All this link building effort should be tracked so that you can see at a glance where and how your links are being placed as well as the effect they are having on your site’s rankings. A few things you might want to keep track of are:

  • Date – this is the date the link went live, you can also note dates you checked to see if the link was still in place. (You’d probably only do this for your top 100 most valuable links)
  • URL – Location or website the link is on.
  • Contact or email of the person or site owner responsible for placing the link.
  • Anchor text used to link back to you.
  • PageRank, or authority of the domain, or individual page. (A good trick is to build links to these links in order to increase their PageRank. Most website owners will also be improving their sites which will eventually trickle down to the individual articles themselves so over time all your links could become much more valuable and powerful.
  • Where the link is pointing on your site. (Homepage, individual post, etc.)
  • Notes Section – As you notice increases in keyword rankings or PageRank you can jot them down here.

There might be other aspects you’d like to track and there are no hard and fast rules, but the simple act of tracking your links serves to act as a performance document and tracking sheet. It also tends to lend itself toward motivation, because most of us like to see measurable results increasing over time as a direct result of our efforts. And last it also serves to legitimize your blog, or business. Inventory lists, operations manuals, sales tracking sheets, etc. all show that an individual is taking his or her blog seriously.

Why Your Article Marketing Sucks

Why Your Article Marketing Sucks
Are you using article marketing to try and get more traffic and more links? This is a common tactic that bloggers use and the reason is because it works, well, when done right it does. Although article marketing works, most people think that it sucks and they think this for good reason. What you need to understand is that most people write articles for the wrong reason, they link to the wrong page and they just don’t do enough marketing.

Article marketing is one of those things that you need to do in order to increase the exposure of your website and if you don’t, then your site is sure to fail. If you want to take your website to the next level, then I strongly recommend that you listen and remember the reasons why your article marketing sucks.

Why Your Articles Suck

Trying To Sell

Have you ever read an article where the person couldn’t hide how bad they were trying to sell you on something? This is what happens with most article marketers, what you need to understand is trying to sell through an article is not how to make a sale. The only way you will ever make your article work for you is by simply trying to be informative. What I highly recommend is that you change your vocabulary so that it doesn’t include any sales words or phrases and make sure that you are not trying to sell the first time somebody is introduced to your writing. Selling is something that is done much faster and easier when somebody trusts you and what you have to say.

Write Bad Articles

Your articles will always suck if you write bad ones. What a lot of people do is they hire somebody else to do their article marketing for them and then they simply submit their work. What you need to understand is that articles need to be written with a purpose and with quality information. If you can’t write articles (or hire somebody to write quality articles), then article marketing is never going to amount to anything.

Don’t Write Enough

How often do you write articles for the purpose of article marketing? If you are only writing 2 articles a week, then you need to write more. My advice is to write at least 1 article per day in order to keep your website growing and gain more traffic. I know that 2 articles per day might be a lot to you but the truth is that if you keep it up you will see the results very soon.

Topic Isn’t Relevant

If you are writing to get people to your website, then writing on a relevant topic is a must. Something that I have seen a lot lately is people putting links in articles that are not even generally related to one another. One thing that you need to understand is that nobody is going to click a link about curling irons if they are there to read an article about pasta recipes. Think about it, would you do that?

As you can see, writing articles is all about connecting with the reader and offering them exactly what they want. Something that a lot of article marketers don’t realize is that you can’t just throw a link to a dog training site at the end of an article about losing weight, it just doesn’t work. Trust me when I say this, article marketing is a skill that anybody can master as long as they put in the time and energy.

Get Your Blog To Stand Out

Get Your Blog To Stand Out

If you don’t get a lot of traffic to your blog, then it is time that you do something about it. Traffic is a big part of any blog but you can’t get traffic unless you put your blog out there. Giving people the option to view your blog or not is what you want to do but the key is to make your blog stand out.

So, how do you make your blog stand out?

There are several things that you can do to make your blog stand out. One of the things many people have done for years is search engine optimization (SEO). Although organic traffic is the best, it takes the longest to get.

Being that so many people struggle with standing out from the crowd and getting the traffic that they deserve, I have decided to give you a little secret that I use. There is actually 4 parts to make this happen. I am not going to go into detail about using SEO to get traffic and make your blog stand out because that is a given. What I am going to talk about is other ways to get traffic and set yourself apart from everybody else in your niche.

Get Your Blog To Stand Out

Twitter

If you are not following us on Twitter, then I highly recommend you do that now to see how we set ourselves apart from everybody else in the niche. Twitter is a great way to get your blog to stand out and the reason is because you can network with other people. Networking has been around for a long time but with Twitter it makes everything that much easier. All I am saying is that you need to use your Twitter account to take your blog to the next level.

Twitter is a great source for traffic but even without the traffic you can still establish yourself and your blog as an authority in your niche. No matter what you talk about on your blog, there will be people on Twitter that will follow you. Just put yourself out there like I have done and see for yourself.

Facebook

Just like Twitter, using Facebook is a great way to make your blog stand out. Again, if you are not following us on Facebook then I recommend you do that too. There is a lot of great information that you will find from some of our followers on Facebook and that is why I recommend it.

The best part about Facebook is that almost everybody in the world has an account. If you want to make yourself know as an expert in your niche, then using Facebook is a must. I am not saying you need to spend hours on Facebook each day but you do need to interact with your following and give them things they won’t find anywhere else. Trust me on this one, if you can stand out on Facebook then making your blog stand out will be no problem.

RSS Feeds & Email

Did you know that some people will check their email 10+ times per day? I know you may be wondering why this is relevant but just give me a second. The reason this statistic is relevant to you is because you can send your blogs RSS feed directly to their inbox. Not only that but you can also send your readers emails. RSS feeds and emails are a great way to set yourself apart from everybody else but most people don’t use them correctly.

In order to get your blog to stand out you need to increase your RSS subscribers as well as your email subscribers while at the same time giving people want they want to hear. Where most bloggers go wrong is they send out affiliate link after affiliate link without any good solid tips or advice on their subject matter. What I recommend is that for every affiliate link you send out that you write at least 3 good emails/blog posts. This is the number I would stick to if I were you and it will help you grow your blog into an authority in your niche.

Guest Posts

Guest posting is always a tough thing to do and the main reason is because most people don’t know what to write about. As a blogger you need to know your niche like the back of your hand. Not only do you need to know your niche, you need to know who you are targeting and why.

Depending on your niche, it might be tough to find a blog where you can write a guest post and that is why you need to use all of these methods to get your blog to stand out. What you need to remember is that you are the face of the blog and because of that you need to stand out in order for the blog to stand out. This is part of the reason why I highly recommend writing and submitting 1 guest post every week. I know that this number is not huge but it will get you started on the right track.

Now, if you have any questions about any of these things then just comment below and I will help you as much as I can. Just know that nobody is going to help you stand out from the crowd, you have to do all of that on your own.

Why Create Blogging Goals Based On Numbers

Why Create Blogging Goals Based On Numbers
How often do you create goals? Do you create a new goal every time you have a new project or only after you reach one of your existing goals? Creating goals is a very important part of life and if you run a website, then goals are the way you can measure growth.

Often times people will create goals based on their fantasy and that never works out. You need to set a goal that is reachable, yet far enough out there that you will have to work to reach that goal. As a blogger you will find that there are a lot of different goals you can set for yourself but you need to set the right ones.

As far as the goals go, you need to create them based on numbers and only numbers. Most bloggers will say they want to rank first for a certain keyword or get a lot of new subscribers but none of those are based on numbers. What you need to understand is that a number based goal is easy to track and that is why you use them.

Blogging Goals For Everybody

Traffic

How are you currently measuring your traffic? Do you base your traffic off of how many total pages are viewed or by how many unique visitors you get? The reason why this is important to know is because you need to use the same method time and time again or else your goal tracking will be off. One of the goals I would set is how many visitors to the blog per day. 500 visitors, 1000 visitors or even 2500 visitors, these are all great goals to set for yourself.

Tip: As far as traffic goes, I would recommend setting a goal based on unique visitors per day, per week and per month. Determining the amount of traffic you get is really easy so that should be a goal that every blogger has.

Search Engine Position

If you are watching where you are on the search engines, then you need to track where you are for all your main keywords. Blogs will rank for a lot of smaller keywords and that is ok if you don’t track them but make sure you know the bigger keywords that you rank for. The way I would set a goal for keywords is to write down the keyword that you want to rank for and which position you want to be by what time. You need to write down but the time and the position because leaving either one open is not a set goal.

Posts

How many posts do you plan on writing every day? Most bloggers will write 1 post a day and for some that is enough but for others they need to write more. A goal that I would recommend setting is “X amount of posts in X amount of days”. The reason I would setup a goal like that is because you don’t have to write 1 post every day for 30 days, instead you could write 2 posts per day published every other day for 30 days. In the end you get the same result as far as posts go.

Setting goals is very important and that is why you need to use them. Many bloggers think that goal setting just gets in the way of their actual success but when you think about it, how do you know what success is if you never set a goal?

How To Easily Increase Your Blogs Page Rank

The Google Page Rank (PR) is something that a lot of people are constantly worried about and because of that I want to show you how to easily increase your blogs PR while not hurting your search engine rankings. This is a tricky subject being that many people do the wrong type of link building. What you need to understand is the method I am about to show you is a tried and true method that I do myself.

As a blog owner, you need to increase your page rank and the reason is so that you can sell advertising space. Most blog owners think that traffic is all they need but the truth is that traffic combined with a high page rank will get you more money for each advertising spot.

Below I am going to list the tools that you will need in order to increase your blogs page rank. If you don’t have these tools, then I would recommend getting them or hiring somebody to do the work for you. My advice would be to outsource as much as you possibly can but if you have a bunch of different websites, then it might be cheaper to simply purchase the different tools that I am about to show you.

Tools You Need To Increase Your Page Rank

Unique Article Wizard
Buildmyrank
The Best Spinner

With these 3 tools you will be able to increase your page rank without any problems very quickly. Now, all you need to do is write a few articles and get them posted on the following sites with a link back to your site.

Squidoo
Hubpages
Infobarrel
Ezinearticles
Weebly
Wordpress
Blogger
Goarticles
Amazines

Now that you have an article on all of these sites, it is up to you to start building backlinks to these sites. The reason you will build backlinks to these sites instead of your actual site is because all of these sites can handle hundreds of links per day while your site would be flagged for a hundred links in a single day. The way you will build links is by submitting a spun version of an original article that you wrote to Unique Article Wizard. If you can submit 1 article to Unique Article Wizard to each one of these sites, then you will easily get a PR1 if not a PR2 by the next Page Rank update.

What I suggest is that you use the same article for all of these sites, the only difference is that you will spin the article using The Best Spinner and place a spun version on each site. The reason you do this is to save time while being able to recycle a perfectly good article. My advice would be to write at least a 500 word article because the longer articles always seem to do better these days.

The next thing you will be doing is to creating backlinks to your own website. The reason you want to get backlinks to your actual website is because the more overall links that you have, the better your page rank will be. What I suggest doing is using Buildmyrank to get links to your site. With Buildmyrank you will be able to target certain keywords that you want to rank for.

The best part about this entire process is that you can easily increase your page rank from a PR0 to a PR3 in less than a couple of months. Many people are now using this exact system to increase their page rank so that they can finally start selling advertising space. Trust me, if you are not making any money with advertising, then you need to start doing so right now.

Why Every Blogger Should Utilize Youtube

Why Every Blogger Should Utilize Youtube

How often do you watch videos on Youtube? If you are like most people, then you will watch at least 1 Youtube video each week.

Did you know that Youtube is the second largest search engine in the world, behind their parent company Google? This is what a lot of people don’t realize and the reason this is important is because when somebody does a search on Google the chances of a Youtube video popping up are much more likely. Think about it, why wouldn’t Google take advantage of this and send more traffic from their site to their second biggest site?

This is why every blogger should utilize Youtube.

Another reason why every blogger should utilize Youtube is because people love videos. One of the things that people hate doing is sitting in front of the computer reading a bunch of articles all the time. If it were up to you what would you rather do, would you rather watch a video of read an article?

My guess is that you would rather watch a Youtube video.

I am not saying that you need to abandon articles altogether but it would make a huge difference if you switched from pure content to articles and videos. The nice thing about mixing it up is that you will be able to offer things to both content lovers and video enthusiasts. As you probably already know, there are a lot of people that you need to cater to as a blog owner and that is why mixing things up will only help you, not harm you.

Why Youtube Videos Rock

Did you know that the reason people don’t like to read content is because they don’t like to take action? Reading involves taking time to actively look at the words and read them. This is where Youtube tops content. If you have a blog visitor that doesn’t really want to read the blog then they just click off the website, it is that simple.

Now with Youtube the visitor will have to stop the video and then click off of it. Being that there is more involved in reading an article, more and more people are starting to love videos more and more. I am not saying that content is dead, content is still the king of the internet but when accompanied by a video there is not holding you back.

One thing that I highly recommend to anybody that wants to take their blog to the next level is to include Youtube videos into their posts. If you don’t want to create your own videos, then you don’t have to, just embed one that is already online. Now I would suggest creating your own video but it is not a requirement.

As you can see, there are many benefits to utilizing Youtube on your blog and because of that I highly recommend it.

Bonus: Not only does Youtube give you the opportunity to get a bunch more traffic to your website, it will also pass link juice to your site as well and that is how you move up on the search engines quickly.

My Sure Fire Way To Gain More Traffic

My Sure Fire Way To Gain More Traffic

Whether you are trying to get traffic to a blog, affiliate link, signup page or just a social network page doesn’t matter, what matters is that you have a way to get traffic there when you need to. What most people don’t understand is there is no magic button that you can push to get more traffic, or is there?

Truth is that there is a way that you can gain more traffic whenever you want to and all you have to do is write a guest post. There are a lot of people out there that have never written a guest post and my guess is they are working a lot longer than they want to just to get the same results others are getting. If you want to gain more traffic to your website of choice, then you need to start writing guest posts. Trust me on this one, there are many benefits to writing guest posts and each and I am going to explain those benefits right now.

Benefits Of Guest Posts

Traffic

The first benefit that you will see is the traffic that comes directly from the guest post to your website. Another great thing about writing guest posts is that depending on how big the website is, you will get more or less traffic. A lot of people think that submitting guest posts to bigger websites is the only way to get more traffic but what you need to understand is that sometimes submitting guest posts to bigger websites will not get you as much traffic because the website will have more competition than smaller ones. Just know that small websites have just as big of a benefit as bigger websites do so make sure you think about this before you submit any articles.

Links

What do you do for link building? Are you stuck on blog commenting, article marketing and profile links? If this is all you are doing for link building, then guest posting will surely benefit you. What a lot of people like about guest posting is that they get a dofollow link with the anchor text of their choice. If you are trying to rank for a certain keyword, then you will find that guest posts are a great way to increase your search engine position without much effort.

Exposure

One other thing that you need to be aware of is the exposure that you will receive. The great thing about getting exposure is that it doesn’t matter what niche you are in, even the smallest amount of exposure in your niche will benefit you and your website. If you want to be seen as an expert in your field, then it is a must to get your name or brand out there and guest posts are a great way to do that.

What you need to understand is that these are not the only benefits to guest posts, there are many more. The reason why I only explained these three benefits of guest posts is because this should be more than enough to make you want to write them. Think about it, a guest post thrives because you are posting it on an already built blog which means that you can piggyback off the blog owners hard work.

Being that guest posting is something that more and more people are getting into, you need to start utilizing it today. I am not saying that you can’t gain more traffic without guest posts but the truth is that it will be a lot harder and takes a lot more time.
