By now I am sure that you have heard of Fiverr, right? If not, then let me give you brief description about Fiverr and how you can make money from it.

Fiverr is really quite simple, all you have to do is offer a gig (service or product) of some kind and wait for people to order that gig from you. The reason the site is called Fiverr is because everything that is sold on the site costs $5. So what this means to us that want to make money with Fiverr is that we will get paid $5 for every gig we sell.

If you are not working on building your email subscriber list, then you are not doing everything that you can. What most people think is that they need to make money right now and because of that they don’t bother creating an email list that they can turn to time and time again. What I would recommend is building an email list so that you can use email marketing to help you make money.

Now as we both know, you can’t just send out emails to anybody and expect them to read it. The reason email marketing works so well is because you email people that want to hear what you have to say and opted for your emails. I am not going to tell you how to create a huge email list right now, the point of this article is to give you some tips and tricks on what kind of emails to send, when to send them and how to market to your list.

The final tip that I have for you is to make sure you stay connected. So many people think that when they build a list they don’t need to do anything with it right away. This is wrong! When you build an email list you need to stay connected to your subscribers so that when you finally do promote something, they will click on it and hopefully buy it. Trust me, you don’t need a huge list but you do need a list of people that will follow you and read your emails.

Revenue Sharing Sites You Should Be Using To Make Money

Do you like to write? Do you want to make more money? What you need to understand is that there are many different ways to make money as a writer but something that most people don’t know about is revenue sharing sites. The great thing about revenue sharing sites is that they pay you a percentage of the revenue your articles earn.

Think about it, how much do you think you could earn?

If you like to write, then you can easily write a unique article and get paid a good amount for it. Not only this but if you have a website then you will be able to link back to it. This is what I call “Killing two birds with one stone”.

Something that I would recommend is that you don’t just write the article but spin it too. The reason I suggest doing this is so that you can reuse the same article for a bunch of different sites. Remember, you need to create links back to the articles as well and using the spun version of that article is the best way to go about doing this. Just know that in order to make money you need to write a lot of good articles.

Tips To Make More Money

Write Smaller Articles

One of the things that I recommend is that you write smaller articles. If you think that writing a 300 word article is good enough, then think again because you need to write articles of 400 words or more. If you can write a bunch of 400 word articles, then you should not have a problem getting all the articles indexed quickly and making money.

Interlink Articles

The best way to get traffic is to link to an article that you have already written and that is exactly what you should be doing. If you interlink your articles, then you will increase your backlinks and push your article high on the search engines. This method will take you a while but it works really good and it doesn’t take a lot of time.

Do You Have to Have Money to Make Money?

The short answer is, “No.”  You can effectively launch an Internet marketing career without a single dime.  All you need is a computer and an Internet connection, which does cost money, but we’re assuming you have those two components already.

Many a marketer has gotten his or her start as an affiliate marketer.  Aside from shuffling around in your attic to find something you can sell for a profit on eBay, affiliate marketing is your best bet for a zero-dollar start-up business in the Internet marketing industry.

All you need is a free ID that you can get on PayDotCom, Amazon, Commission Junction, LinkShare, or ClickBank (to name a few), and the ability to learn about free traffic sites and you can begin generating an affiliate income without investing a penny of your own money.

That said, it’s best if you save a few dollars here and there to invest in some tools that are going to make your Internet marketing efforts a whole lot easier.  For instance, you could sit around and brainstorm for five days to get a list of keywords – or, pay for a one-day subscription to WordTracker and harvest thousands of keywords in less than an hour.

You could also use nothing but web 2.0 social sites that are free, such as MySpace or Squidoo, to host your content and affiliate links.  Or, you could pony up the $9.95 one-time fee for a domain name and $6.95 a month for hosting and have your own business presence on the ‘net.

You can also spend days and weeks searching for information about how to do a task that will help you make money as an Internet marketer – such as how to master pay per click advertising.

Or, you can invest in a step-by-step guide t shorten your learning curve.  What most marketers suggest is to take a look at your budget and see what you have to invest.  If you have to start out with nothing, go for it – but set aside a few of your profits to pour back into your online efforts.

Everything you’ll invest in is built to ease your workload and hasten the procedures, so your income will increase faster and with less input from you as you learn to wield these tools in your favor.

Is your Blog in Alignment?

One of the very first things I did when I launched this site, even before writing my first post was to set out the goals and successes that I wanted to achieve with my site. Now if I asked you right now what’s the most important goal you’d like to achieve with your site, you’d have some answers ready to go, but the only problem is you can only have one most important goal.

It’s important to list out the goals for your blog starting with the most important and moving down toward the lesser goals. Once you have this list you can then take a look at your blog from an outsider’s perspective and see whether or not your blog is aligned to its full potential with those goals.

Here’s an example for a new blog starting out:

Priorities –

1.       Generate Traffic

2.       Build up opt in subscribers

3.       Gather 2000 fans, followers etc. to social network

4.       Will make enough money to cover the blogs costs

Notice that making money comes last? It’s important to build up a few other aspects of your blog before going after people’s hard earned money. As a blog grows, the goals will change and adapt. You may find that you excel at building up subscribers and are able to move it down the list while still maintaining a favourable growth in that area.

Now since in this case the number one goal is to generate traffic, you are going to want to have your awesome content above the fold on your homepage, and easily accessible to visitors. Perhaps you’ll have a listing of your most popular posts in the side bar. If something is going to drive more traffic, give it space and allow it to do its job.

Since building an opt in list is this particular blog’s goal you’ll want to have an attractive opt in form with some great and amazing giveaway that can only be found on your site. Not only that, but you’ll most likely want that opt in box to be site wide, and also have some additional help in the form of a light box hover (fade in subscriber box), and perhaps a subscription bar at the top like I’ve implemented recently. The more avenues that lead to a person subscribing, obviously the more subscribers you’ll enjoy.

Building your social network does several things for your blog at once. It gives you additional reach and allows you to find visitors that frequent those networking sites on a regular basis. Remember, just as you can email out to your subscriber list, you can also reach out to those people following you on social networks. If you have 5000 fans on your fan page, you can easily send them a special offer to purchase a copy of your new e-book or video course. The more people you are connected to, the larger the audience you can reach out to, and tap into for either traffic to your latest blog post, or your newest information product.

I’m going to assume you’ve chosen goals that are going to bring you closer to the success you seek, but the part that often gets missed is making sure that those goals are reflected in the message you are sending with your blog. If building a community is the number one goal for you at this time, then make sure you’ve invested in the commenting system that reflects that. Perhaps you’d like to integrate a forum where your readers can interact, and communicate directly with yourself, and each other.

Without looking at your current blog setup, write out what’s most important to you right now at this point in your current situation. Then go back and see if those goals are being reflected to the best of your blogs ability. A blog is a constantly evolving system that grows alongside the blogger!

Goals and Money

Goals and Money

In today’s economy it’s fairly standard for both the husband and wife to work in order to make ends meet. Often times even with both incomes coming in, it can still be a struggle to get ahead in life, live free of debt, and enjoy the things that we deem important to us. Before writing this article I did a little test of sorts, I asked 3 people to tell me the top 5 things that were important to them, things they were passionate about, wanted to achieve etc.

I got the typical answers that you might expect, you may even relate to a few of them yourself, and I’ll list them below.

-          Travel (and the time to travel)

-          Health and working out

-          Security

-          To pay off their house

-          College tuition for one child (guess the other one’s are on their own!)

-          Pay off their credit cards

-          Lose weight

-          Start a business

Now these seem like pretty good goals to be working toward, most of them make sense don’t you think?

Now I asked them next, where they were in their journey to achieving these goals, can you guess the answer? For some reason, they didn’t seem to be achieving any of them with any degree of success, I mean sure each month they were paying down their mortgage and one had managed a trip to Hawaii last year, but overall things seemed to have stalled a little bit for each of them.

The next question I asked got me a few blank stares, and odd looks. I asked what they had done yesterday to take them closer to any of those goals. How about within the last month? Year?

Amazing! These people had listed off some of the things they thought would be most beneficial to their lives, and yet had done almost nothing to bring them even a little bit closer to the goal.

It’s important to not only have a vague idea of what it is you find important to you and your family, but also to write it down, measure it, improve upon it consistently so that over time, you’ll come to realize your goals and dreams as reality.

I think for many of us, we get into the routine, and have a hard time breaking out of it until something happens to either change our thinking or to force us out of our current situation. You know that routine I’m talking about, it’s been taught to millions upon millions of us, and is unfortunately not to our benefit, but to our detriment.

It goes something like this:

Go to school, get good grades and graduate.
Go to college or university and get good grades again.
Get a job with a reputable company that pays decent.
Work 40 hours a week, for 40 years.
Retire
Try to live off of 40 % of what you couldn’t live off in the first place!

Sound familiar?

This is the worst possible business model for you as an individual. Trading hours for money is very ineffective, and leaves very little room for growth. You’re limited to the number of workable hours in a week. Even if you chose to work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, you will still only be paid for 84 hours each week. Personally it doesn’t sound very attractive to me.

There is a better way to make money, and the people who have money have figured it out a long time ago, it’s called leverage. Leverage can be a powerful thing for you, and opens you up to a whole new way of looking at money, and what that money can in turn do to push you closer to your goals, and what you’ve decided is important in your life.

Leveraging your time, now as we pointed out even working 7 long days you’d only be getting paid on 84 hours of work each week, but what if you could leverage that time? What would it look like then? Multi-level marketers and network marketers figured out a long time ago, that if you could get paid on the efforts of others then you could quickly multiply your earnings. In Internet marketing we have a similar method using affiliates, basically if we structure our business accordingly we can not only be working at the goal of selling our product, or products, but we can have literally hundreds or thousands of people working toward the same goal.

Would you rather go to work for 12 hours today to accomplish your goals, or would you rather have 12 people go to work for 1 hour, how about 120 people for an hour? It’s a bit of a no brainer if you ask me, and no matter what it is you do, you should always try to find ways to use leverage to your advantage.

Leveraging your money is another great example of how certain people make a living smarter rather than harder. Warren Buffet has managed to amass a huge fortune simply by leveraging the money he has to work with. They say it takes money to make money, and there is at least a little bit of truth in that, in that if you have money to use as collateral you can borrow even more money, and make that money work for you, creating even more wealth for you. Remember, leveraging money is a great way to generate income, but you should be knowledgeable about the type of investing you are planning.

I think it’s important to look for the leverage in each of our lives, and businesses and utilize them to our advantage. It may take a bit of extra work for me to see if a PPC (pay per click) campaign that I’m using to drive traffic to an affiliate offer is working, but for me, if I can find that magic ratio, where I know I’m spending $1.00 and making $1.50, then it’s well worth the time invested because I can simply scale things up and give myself a raise!

PLR Sales – Selling PLR Content

The explosion of the internet marketing business has lead to some interesting tactics, one of which is known as private label rights, or PLR. Private label rights is a type of content license that permits the person buying the content to edit it, and then sell or use it under their own name. Often, this content is used in online marketing schemes such as affiliate marketing or search engine optimization, and can fill a variety of roles on a given website. However, the content is often sold as a product in and of itself, and PLR sales as a product account for a fair portion of the industry. Here, we will go over how private label rights licensing works, as well as how selling PLR differs from using it for marketing.

Private label rights licensing is essentially the same basic idea as reselling, with a few modifications. Terms for PLR sales differ from vendor to vendor, with some placing restrictions on the content they sell. A vendor may require that content be edited before it is used, or may restrict the ways in which it used. Vendors may even restrict the purchaser’s ability to sell the content as its own product. Knowing the potential restrictions vendors can place on their PLR content will help you get the type you need for your purposes.

When PLR content is used in marketing, it is generally done in one of several ways. Many vendors will use the content as a way to provide their site with search engine optimization, because the content will likely only need to be slightly tweaked in order to suit the needs of the purchaser. It may also be used as a sort of teaser for a larger product, such as when several pages of an ebook are provided for a potential customer to browse through. PLR sales, on the other hand, are often to clients that intend to tweak and sell the content again.

PLR sales can be a very effective way to capitalize on content you purchase. The ability of someone buying private label rights content to edit and resell that content (unless restricted by the original creator) makes it easy to make money from a relatively small amount of effort. However, many of the restrictions placed on PLR content are in place to keep the content from being overused, as too much use reduces its value.
