Why I Recommend Aweber

Why I Recommend Aweber

If you subscribe to any blogs, then you probably already have seen Aweber in action. Aweber is the most popular email services out there and for good reason to. There are a lot of things that bloggers like about Aweber and that is why I highly recommend it.

What I Like About Aweber

Easy To Use

One of the things that I love about Aweber is that they are really easy to use. Most people think that Aweber is tough to use with everything that they offer but it is all of this stuff that makes them one of the simplest to use. I know where are other services out there that say they are the easiest to use (Mailchimp) but the truth is that for bloggers, having more is what makes things easy.

Great Support

Do you have having to try and learn everything on your own? If you have not dabbled with autoresponders before, then you are probably missing out on a lot of stuff and that is why having the support there is a great thing. I am not saying that the other email services don’t have great support but Aweber seems to have more skilled support specialists and that probably has something to do with how big of a company they are.

Many Different Themes

As a blogger you probably have your own theme that you use for your blog and that is great. This is also why I recommend using Aweber because you can now upload your theme as the background of your email. The benefit of doing this is so that your readers will know who the email is from by just looking at it. Trust me, this may not seem like a huge deal but it is to many people.

Affordable

Not only are there a lot of reasons to buy Aweber and all of its features, it is also really affordable. If you have an email list of under 500 people, then it is not that cheap but once you get a list of 1500 or more, then it really starts to beat out the competition. This is probably why Aweber is the autoresponder that most big businesses use because there are better deals once you have a substantial list built.

Great Tracking

The last thing that I want you to know is that Aweber offers some of the best tracking available. With Aweber you never have to wonder how many people read your email, who opened it, when they opened it and how many people clicked the links in the email. With Aweber all the stats are broken down for you so that you can see exactly how effective that email was so that you can make adjustments later on.

Choosing an email service is sometimes difficult but if you ask me, there is nothing difficult about using Aweber as your auto responder and email service. If you want to ensure that you capture as many emails as you can, then Aweber will definitely do this for you. I don’t want to get into all the particulars about Aweber since you have probably already heard about them but just know that if you are not using them, then I would recommend that you at least try them to see how great they really are.

The Reason Every Affiliate Marketer Needs Popup Domination

Have you ever heard the saying, “The money is in the list”? Do you know what people mean by this?

What people (gurus) mean by this is that as an affiliate marketer you will make more money by building your email list and then promoting through that rather than trying to make a quick sale. What most people don’t realize is that in order to make sales as an affiliate marketer you first need to establish yourself as an expert in the field and gain your readers trust. This is where most people mess up.

Being that you need to establish a decent sized email list, I recommend Popup Domination. Popup domination is something that I am sure you have seen before and the reason people use it is because it looks professional, it has a high opt-in rate and most importantly it is easy to use. If you have a website (and you better), then having Popup Domination is only going to make getting email subscribers easier for you.

As an affiliate marketer there are a lot of ways that you can go about getting a sale but the truth is that most of the ways are harder than you think. Have you ever tried to sell something to somebody that didn’t want it? This is what you are essentially doing when you try to quickly make a sale, like I said before, you need to establish some trust first.

One thing I want to make sure you know is that you don’t need Popup Domination, you can get email subscribers the old fashion way if you want to. If you ask me doing things the old fashion way are just not worth the time and effort when you can quickly and easily increase your subscribers by simply adding Popup Domination to your online toolbox.

Tips To Using Popup Domination

Give A Gift

When I say give a gift, I am not talking about an physical item of some kind. What I am talking about is a free E-book of something like that. The benefits of giving away something for free will help you out immensely. Most people think that giving away free information is not worth it but the truth is that the more you give away to your subscribers, the more they will like you.

Test Your Lightbox

One thing that most affiliate marketers forget to do is test their methods and that is never a good thing. Once you get a lightbox up on your website you need to test the different colors, sizes, layouts, E-book covers and everything else to make sure you have the highest opt-in rate. If you don’t test out the different options that you have, then you won’t know whether or not you are getting the highest opt-in rate.

The final thing that I want you to understand is that Popup Domination is not that expensive and it even comes with a guarantee. How great is this, you can try Popup Domination without any risks? Like I said before, every affiliate marketer needs Popup Domination and once you try it you will see why.

To Build a Business, You Have to Build a List

money

Here’s another phrase you’ll grow sick of: The gold is in the list.  You might get weary of hearing it, but it’s smacking you in the face for a reason – it’s the truth!  First of all, let’s answer the question, “What is a list?”

A list in Internet marketing terms is a database of contact information for your prospects.  So if you have a product or promote products about gardening and I sign up for your list, I’m a prospect that you can market to repeatedly until I unsubscribe.

So why is building a list so important?  Let’s say you start off as an affiliate marketer.  You find a niche you truly enjoy and you start working what you’ve learned into some traffic for your affiliate links.

Over a period of 30 days, you funnel 5,000 prospects from the World Wide Web who are interested in your niche straight through your affiliate link to the product owner’s site.

They even buy – yea! You’ve made a 50% commission with a 2% conversion rate.  That means 2 out of every 100 people you sent bought the product, and your share was $26.00 (as an example).  You earned a cool $2,600 this month – good for you!

But you’re leaving money on the table.  Those 100 people who bought from your 5,000 clicks?  They’re now on the product owner’s list, not yours. So what he’s going to do is send them more offers over the coming weeks.

After all, they are proven buyers.  Over the next 30 days, those buyers fork over some more money for products that complement the original one they bought.  That money goes to the product owner, not you – because you passed on building a list the first time around.

A better way to build an Internet marketing business is to start with a list from day one. Before you let a single person slip through your link without capturing their name and email address, have your system set up to build a list.

You can have unlimited lists for different niches using a simple tool like Aweber, which costs $19.95 a month.  Every day you can log in and see how many people have signed up, and you can create automated messages to send out to help convert your list into more sales.

Why should the product owner get to cash in on that person again and again when you’re the one who brought him the customer in the first place?  Stake claim to each prospect and leverage your relationship with him for future sales and commissions.

Plain Text vs. HTML Emails

Aweber

A big part of an internet marketer’s income will likely be coming in from his email list of subscribers. First you offer something of value to your readers, and since we generally offer something that is related to the topic of our blog we can be assured of having a highly targeted audience to offer it to.

Once we’ve convinced the visitor of the value of the offer and they’ve subscribed we start the process of building the relationship which usually involves providing them with valuable content that helps further their business while also offering them an easy place to access programs, services, and products that they might be interested in. We then earn a commission on the affiliate nature of those offers.

Some marketers spend the time to send you nothing but offers, and generally experience a very low open rate, and an even lower click through rate. People are funny about being marketed too, if there is no value, and then they don’t tend to stick around long. It’s generally more lucrative to spend the time providing value while suggest selling around the edges so to speak.

If you write an email outlining how the reader can take advantage of Godaddy’s $.99 cent domains all year long, then having an affiliate link to Godaddy is likely going to result in a much higher conversion than if all you do is send the link out asking them to go visit them.

There are two formats you can choose when sending out emails to subscribers, the plain text version which for some is touted as being more “user friendly” and appears to come from a friend vs. a company or marketer. The other is the HTML version which is much more attractive and visually appealing but also appears more “corporate” to the recipient. There are pros and cons for both.

Plain Text Emails:

Pros

-          You know exactly how it’s going to appear to the recipient

-          Looks more like a “personal message

-          Easy to do, and takes no time at all

-          Faster load times (mobile devices or slow internet connections)

Cons

-          Very boring looking

-          Are touted as being more personable, but let’s face it, all marketers’ structure the email in such a way as to be easily spotted and discarded if that is the recipient’s intention.

-          Can’t hyperlink words

-          Can’t use colors or graphics

-          Difficult to use columns or to break up text

HTML Emails:

Pros

-          Visually attractive designs

-          Can be made to match or “brand” with your website

-          Allows you to track statistics like Open and CTR which can be valuable information

-          Easy to break up text and other information using headers, images, columns, etc.

Cons

-          May appear inconsistent across different email clients

-          Slower load time for mobile or slow connections

-          Images may be blocked by email provider

There are valid arguments for both sides and ultimately the final decision will rest with the individual and his subscribers. I’d suggest you try both and see how the results differ, and perhaps asking your subscribers after the test period would provide you with some valuable information on the subject. You may end up going with one or the other, or you may choose a combination of both.

30 Days to an EBook

Writing

No matter what niche or market you happen to be in, a great way to earn some extra money with your blog or website while also setting you up as an expert in your field is to write an eBook, and market it to the world.

With dedication and commitment, mixed in with some decent research skills, almost anyone can write a high quality eBook for their audience, and the more time you are willing to invest into the project, the higher quality result you’ll be rewarded with.

So just where do you start? Well it helps if you already have a grasp of the subject matter that you have chosen for your website and possibly eBook, so you might already have a good idea of just what questions are being asked and where your knowledge might be best spent to help the most amounts of people. The first step in your eBook project will be to settle on a topic, and rough length for the book, I say rough because typically you can’t just set a number in stone, because it usually ends up that the content decides the final total or word count.

Try to choose what content you would like to present to your readers, and then spend some time developing the chapters that you would like to cover, you should have a rough estimate of how many words it will take you to cover each chapter, and obviously the more information you have to cover, the more words you will need. Try to avoid filling your eBook with filler words just to keep the word count up. The more content you can cram into your book the more beneficial it will be to your readers, and when you launch your next eBook, you will already have a pool of potential buyers for it, especially if it is in the same niche, or is a follow up to the first book.

I am going to share a sample writing schedule that you can use as a guideline, feel free to modify it to suit your needs accordingly, it is just meant as a guide to keep you on track, and ensure that you get you’re eBook launched in a reasonable amount of time.

Day 1     – Research several topics, and try and settle on one that will both be enjoyable for you to research and write, as well as to appeal to as large an audience as possible within you’re niche.

Day 2     – Write out you’re chapters ensuring that you cover all the material that you feel you need to get across to your readers in order for them to fully understand the topic you have chosen.

Day 3     – Fill in your copyright information, your chapters, as well as your intro for the book, now might also be a good time to brand it with your website, logo or whatever you intend to use.

Day 4     – Try to write one chapter each day, don’t worry about punctuation or grammar too much at this point, you will need to proof it several times as well as edit it for publication or launch.

Day 5     – For this example we will assume an eBook of 20 chapters, hence 20 days’ worth of writing.

Day 23   – Now that you have a rough copy of the book completed its time to go through it looking for typo’s misspelled words, doubled up words, etc. You will want to go through it at least 4 or 5 times, because our minds can trick us by reading ahead and will try to see what it anticipates rather than what is actually there. This is why a book can hit the shelves after being proof read by no less than 6 people and still have errors in it.

Day 24   – Find at least 3 or 4 people who will read through your new book looking for any errors, as well as to offer up any suggestions that they might have regarding the content, whenever possible use people who will likely be the end user so that the feedback will be as accurate as possible for your needs. Have the highlight any changes they make so that when you get each one back, it will be a simple matter to implement any changes you think might enhance the book. Remember, just because someone makes a suggestion, doesn’t mean you have to implement it. If you don’t think it aligns with the way you want the book to be read then by all means leave it out.

Day 25   – Have the graphics done up for the book, any interior images you might need as well as the cover image for the book, if you intend to offer banners to help promote the eBook now would be a good time to have them done so you can ensure the entire package is branded the same way.

Day 26   – Spend the day writing the sales  copy for the book, here is where you sell the potential customer on the benefits of the book, as how it will affect/enhance their lives, you can write this yourself, or outsource it. Typically if you hire a seasoned copywriter you can expect a higher conversion rate and in turn higher profit margin for your book.

Day 27   – Prepare to launch your eBook to the world, if you will be submitting to Clickbank in order to capitalize on the power of affiliates, also it might be a good idea to write and schedule a press release to announce the launch or publication of your new eBook, this will provide you with thousands of readers instantly and potentially some sales as well as get the word out about your new book and what it has to offer.

Days 28 through 30          – Now is the time to avail yourself to the social media avenues you have available to you, mail it out to your list, have your friends or joint venture partners mail out for you, offer to do ad swaps with other list owners. Schedule regular tweets over the Twitter-Sphere and ask your followers if they would be so kind as to retweet it to their followers as well. Many of us will be glad to help out, and make your eBook launch as successful as possible.

Writing and launching an eBook can be a rewarding experience for you and can bring you a residual income for some time to come, while also showing your readers how knowledgeable you are on your chosen topic.

Tips for Growing Your Email List – Rewarding Your Subscribers and More

Growing your list

There are many practical tips for growing your email list. If you have recently started your business or launched your website, you likely will not have an email list to send to. You can start out by placing a form on your website to sign up for your email newsletter. Put a link to this form on each page of your website so that members will have access to it from anywhere. You may try including a link in a header or footer so that it is not awkwardly listed on your pages.

Once you have completed these steps, you can also place this link in your email signature. If you have others working for you, ask them to include it in their email signatures as well. Place it in your invoices for your companies as well. Other tips for growing your email list include posting free articles on your website. Ensure that these articles also do not require any subscription or registration. When sending out emails, make sure that they are personal for each of your clients, especially when you are asking them to sign up for your newsletter.

In your contact form on your website, include a checkbox that will allow others to sign up for your newsletter. Also add one to your checkout page for e-commerce. Of course, if you already have a list of email customers, you can take different steps. However, do not presume that because they are your customers that they want to receive your newsletter. Be sure to ask their permission to avoid irritating them. If you have an e-commerce store then you probably have a large list of customers. Again, don’t start sending these customers emails without their permission. If they don’t buy from you often, they may not even know who you are.

Yet another tip within the tips for growing your email list is to reward your subscribers. You can do this in one of two ways. The first is to offer free gifts or incentives from your website. This will allow your subscribers to gain your trust and try what you are offering them. If they are able to share your product with others or use it for themselves, they may enjoy it and want to buy from you more often. At the very least, they will be open to hear what you have to say.

The other way you can reward your subscribers is if you have a blog, or perhaps an electronic newsletter. Instead of offering only an RSS feed for your blog, offer an email subscription as well. Most blog readers prefer to read emails than RSS feed. Thus, make sure that you give people the option. If you don’t, you may be neglecting many people that could have been your potential subscribers or customers. Offer users a gift for subscribing, such as a product of yours or a complimentary lesson, or perhaps access to a part of your website for a time, or a program.

Building Your Opt-In List – Three Steps to Start Building

Opt-In List Building

Building your opt-in list is a very important step in internet marketing. This can be done easily if you set your emails up for success. This will allow you to grow your lists quickly. You may have heard many success stories about people who have started opt-in lists and made good money with them. Perhaps this is the reason you decided to start an opt-in list. However, you may still not be making a profit. You may actually be losing money, and you may have a large list. Perhaps not many people are buying from you.

The most common mistake people make while building their opt-in list is coming into the market without learning what they need to know about it. If you have already started your opt-in list but it is not doing well, you can make it better. Perhaps in the past you’ve chosen a topic that you viewed as popular, but no one is buying from you. Sending an email to people does not ensure that they will buy from you right away. However, there are a few tips that will help you to make your opt-in list successful.

The first tip that will help you to build your opt-in list is making sure that your customers trust you. This should be your first priority. They should trust not only you, but also the product that you sell. You should gain their trust before you even try selling anything to them. You cannot become an expert overnight simply because you have launched a campaign. This also does not make you a trusted resource. Before starting your opt-in list, go to an article directory and submit articles about topics that are related to your business online, or other topics you have knowledge about.

The next step in building your opt-in list is to find a service or product to provide that people will actually need. It may not be your area of expertise, but whatever you choose to provide should be something that you have learned much about through extensive research. Knowing your product well is part of being professional. You may choose a product that you are interested in, but this should only be done if the product attracts a larger audience. You can also give those subscribed to your email promotional materials that they can give to others or use for themselves.

The final step in building your opt-in list is making friends. You should befriend other opt-in list users. This will benefit you if the person is successful, because you can learn much from their experience in building opt-in lists. They will provide firsthand experience of what not to do, as well as what you should do. As your list grows, you will be able to provide your customers with a higher quality of content. Remember to stay manageable and organized. If you need help, then seek it out or hire someone to help you. Always ensure that your customers are satisfied and happy.

Tips to Help You Make Money Online

MAKE MONEY ONLINESince the beginning, Internet marketing has held a massive appeal to me, and probably has too many of you people reading this as well. Earlier today while I was writing out an email I had three alerts come in via PayPal letting me know that I had made 3 sales. Now the price on that particular product is only six dollars, but still. I wasn’t working for it. I was writing a personal email when they came in. You can’t help but smile as you get these alerts throughout the day or night.

If you want to make money online there is any number of different ways to approach it. There are a few things I’d keep in mind however when considering at which internet fountain you’re going to try and draw money from.

Diversity - Multiple streams of internet income is something I preach to everyone who’ll listen. There is just no safety or security in trusting all your eggs in one basket with no guarantee it won’t dry up tomorrow, or become saturated, or whatever. When Google introduced the Adsense and Adwords program there were people who made small fortunes with Google. I’ve personally seen monthly checks for $4000.00 and I’m sure a lot of you are familiar with the $132,994.97 Adsense check that Jeremy Schoemaker received back in September, 2005.

Education – Strive to become excellent in each area your passionate enough about that you feel you’d like to explore the profit potential of. I schedule 1 hour into each and every one of my days. All 365 of them actually! I take this time to research new products, new ideas, I’ll sign up to other marketers products just so I can see how they format they’re sales letters to me! Internet marketing education is important, don’t neglect it. Make sure you have a circle of friends around you both online and off who can help push you, and motivate you.

Take action – It’s important to keep active, make sure you’re continually moving forward, either pushing your current projects further, or developing new ones. Like a Shark, to stop moving forward is to die. The online world is continually changing. Just because a product you’re promoting now is doing well, doesn’t mean it will be in six months or a year. If you can’t list out a dozen things to do tomorrow to progress your business forward, you’d better sit down and start brainstorming.

Keep Track – It’s important to keep track of your progress as it relates to your business. Each day I start my morning by logging the progress from the previous day’s work. My Facebook fan page grew by 46 fans, Twitter followers across accounts grew by 400 followers, emails subscribers 11, backlinks 23,976 etc. This way, I can at a glance know that I’m moving in the right direction. I’ll also know instantly if any one area is being neglected by me or my team, or isn’t responding, allowing me to change tactics and maybe approach it differently.

The List – You’ve heard over and over that “the money is in the list”. So what are you waiting for? The time to start building your email subscriber list is in the beginning.  Remember tip number one? Diversify… well your subscriber list when built properly will be worth approximately $10 to $12 per year/subscriber. Not huge money….or is it? If you gather just 10 targeted subscribers each day, you’ll end up with 3650 email subscribers within the year. At $12 each that’s an extra $43,800 in almost pure profit to your businesses bottom line! Build your list!

That’s it for today, See you tomorrow!
