SEO (search engine optimisation) is based on statistics and real figures and real results. The proof provided through this method of marketing is clear, concise, and undeniable. This cannot be said about other media. The cost of a well designed website and the following SEO support and social media marketing is incredibly minor compared with all other media types. The reach of your website is practically unlimited. Your website can be found by everyone who ever gets online as long as you pay your yearly or 2 yearly hosting fee to your hosting provider. - Accessible. TV is only accessible if you have a television, and you have a connection to the network provider. You do not have choice about this. All other media cannot even be considered accessible. You either have it, or you do not. Mobile networks, and satellite connections have spread further than television access. If there is a media we can consider accessible, then it is the internet, and your website.
- Interactive. Our expectations are very high when we consider something being interactive. We used to think interactive meant we had a choice to change channels. It was interesting to watch and see how long it actually took big business to realize this fact. I don’t know if it’s because many of these companies are so big that it took them so long to adapt and add Social Media into their campaigns but it looks like they’ve finally caught on.
