I finally completed my very first product that is to be sold with my name as author. It was a rush! Nervous and excited all rolled into one. Took me way longer to get everything set up than I thought it would and that's without an upsell or an OTO. I'll try those next time...lol.

I don't imagine it will sell very well, despite excellent reviews so far, because teaching skills is never as sexy as the "make $10K while walking your dog" products. But I did it! LOL.

Well Tina,

Congrats on finishing the product up and putting it up for sale! I know that first one is always a killer on nerves, but once you get one or two under your belt, the nerves should settle some for ya.

Just for the record though, never say you don't think one of your own products isn't going to sell because ... You never know what will take off with those types of products. If the product is good it'll make it around, and people will talk about it.

I haven't had to refund any yet so I must have got something right!

Mary, you're right, you never know. I should have said that it won't sell well in the venue that I launched it, only because the get rich and easy button type of products get most of the attention.

But that is just one venue. I have several other promotional ideas to pursue that I think will do much better in the end.

The great part for me is that so far, every single person who has read the main report has learned something. So I know it really is helpful to those who need it so that is gratifying. Plus, I truly enjoyed creating the package even though it took forever to get all aspects set up (I'm so tech-challenged). But that should be easier next time.

The product itself will help people create better content and products - I wish the ones littering up the web with junk would all get it...lol.

Good job Tina, just gotta have faith. you don't have to have a big "push button magic pill" product to make money, even in the IM niche. so many people are sick of that stuff that they will buy a well made product. as long as it isn't loaded with hype and failing to deliver, you should do ok.

Here's hoping! So far it's sold a whole 4 copies but that's okay. As I said, I know it's good stuff so I'm proud of it anyway. And it's new, there are many more things I can do with it.

Thanks, Jim. I have 4 or 5 more all outlined, actually, all focused on helping people to really provide value in their products and content. I know there are many who are only worried about the next buck and how fast they can get it, but there has to be a segment that wants to actually give value. That's the segment I'm hoping to reach with my products.

Lol there is a group that does want to give value or at least is willing to learn about doing business that way. You'll get them sure enough by providing value yourself kid!
