Default LMBO I've been banned from the Pligg support forum

I've been banned from the Pligg support forum because I questioned one of the administrators or mods. Lol that was the first time I've ever been banned.

I was asking how to change templates in the script. Every time I went to add a different template I was getting an error. Chuck Roast decided that the error was encountered because I somehow uploaded a template I know nothing about and then deleted some files from my server. I kept telling him I didn't delete anything from my server, and most certainly didn't upload that template. Matter of fact I put up several instances of the script and had the same problem with every one of them, so it could not have been caused by me deleting everything.

Lol he then closed the thread saying that I was basically ignorant, and the error was caused by me the user. He went on and on about it in his last psot before closing it, so I sent a message through the "report a post" section to him. He also stated that I was not following what he was telling me to do, but that wasn't the case. I did follow everything to the letter but kept coming up with the error.

That's when he truly showed his arrogance and ignorance in dealing with people.

Lol what is it with these geeks? They cannot nor will not admit when there is something wrong with their creation. The apps can be buggier than heck, and they will still say there is nothing wrong with it.

I say oh well - it is their loss. I know I don't need that kind of attitude or support from people like that. They are not as important as they seem to think they are. In my opinion, people should stay far far away from that forum and those people.

Lol free script or not, it isn't worth dealing with the bugs or people like Chuck Roast and his ignorance.

Here are the cmments made if anyone is interested in seeing how obnoxious he really is:

Quote:
I don't know what Chuck's problem is, but he is clearly not paying attention to what he reads. A prime example of this is right here in this thread, and the thread he referred to. The template in question was explained, and it has been established that the siverbullet was NOT USED in this instance.

Being sarcastic to someone who is trying to figure out what the hell the bug is and closing the thread is not helping any. But if you don't care, so be it. Get a bad reputation then.
---End Quote---
mmurtha

It's funny how you tried to rat me out as being the bad guy. I am the one who receives those reports.

If you feel that the free support that you are getting for your free software is not up to your standards, then by all means please go pay someone else to do it for you.

You posted <a href="http://forums.pligg . com/questions-comments/4781-how-install-new-template.html#post96082">here</a> saying the error was.

---Quote---
Error: You may have typed the template name wrong or "silverbullet" does not exist. Click here to fix it.
---End Quote---

I posted <a href="http://forums.pligg . com/questions-comments/4781-how-install-new-template-2.html#post96084">here</a> telling you have to correct your problem.

You refused to follow my directions and still denied that you ever used the silverbullet template.

Not liking the reply you were given, you illogically came to the bug report forum. You claim that the silverbullet template was not distributed with your copy of Pligg that you downloaded.

I replied and told you that the silverbullet template is not part of Pligg. Becase it's is in fact NOT PART OF PLIGG.

Now you try to report me because again you still wouldn't follow the original directions given? You are some piece of work sir. In your report you still claim it to be a Pligg bug when one of the developers has already told you flat out that it's not a bug. You try to threaten us by saying that we would get a bad reputation if we don't fix this bug?

You are basically saying that if we don't stop everything and immediately provide you with extra special support you are going to bad mouth us and try to hurt our reputation?

I think you need to reexamine your approach for obtaining what you want. You will need to hire someone to help you for now on. I will no longer provide you with any kind of support.
So everyone knows, I broke the links deliberately because I didn't want to give them any link juice.

Wow, what a jerk! That tells me not to get involved with Pligg ever. Although, since I don't have a clue about Pligg to begin with, it probably wouldn't happen anyway...lol.

Sorry to hear you were treated that way, Mary. Completely unprofessional, particularly in a public place like that.

Tina,

Yup it was unprofessional, and that is what this post is supposed to do. I posted it to warn people so they don't go through the same hassle.

That guy there puts a whole new twist on the meaning of being a jerk. If you noticed, he twisted everything in that comment that I sent when reporting him into whatever he felt like saying lol. That shows me he's a lier to begin with. If he lies, 9 out of 10 times he'll be worse than just being a lier, and if so he cannot be trusted. Hell, he can't see reality so how can he?

I feel the same way about liars. If I can't trust you to tell the truth, I certainly don't trust you with anything else.

Chuck Roast is an a$$ ... I find their forum and sales store to be a scam ....

#1. They can not even number their own releases proper.. They seem to think 0.9 is a higher version than 2.0 .. Huh ???

#2. I purchased a template long before I even built the auto syndication sites. The template would not work with my version. I asked "support" about it and I got a nasty reply from chuck. So I sent him an email back explaining proper web development and how to number things. I told him I was not very satisfied after spending $20 for junk I cant use.

#3. Got a reply from chick and he told me it was my problem.. So I replied back and told him I will make sure to trash the entire thing and not use it. I explained he must need the money so he can keep the free $20 because it is obvious he does not know how to make money online.

All in All - Pligg is trash... It is over-complex with many many bugs....

James,

Yeah I agree with you and am so glad you posted your comment. Now I know I am not the only one having problems with him. He's an idiot!

And yes, the app has more bugs in it then the original windows 95 app had in it, and it was like swiss cheese then. At least Microsoft listened and developed their software more to make it what it is now.

And before someone suggests that I am comparing the two businesses with one another, I assure you that Pligg could not and will never live up to the same standards. Heck, they don't even compare to the apps most Internet Marketers create or have created for them.

Exactly .. The script is junk and will never be good enough to be considered for running a proper site..

This is why I have created my own auto syndication sites now..

So I say Lame Chuck does a good job at losing customers...

Pligg is a resource hog. I have domains with 20 WP sites on them and they use nowhere near the resources as one pligg site .

Hey Troy,

I agree, Pligg takes up a lot of resources. Joomla! sites do the same, and they are both open source, but much more robust than wordpress. At least I think so after using all 3.
