As I said earlier, you can call me paper hater, but I'm environment lover !! 
Also, the efficiency of the electronic devices is far better than paper and pen strategy. For example, you remember only a word or two in your idea which you got it 1 year back and now you want to implement it. Now to search the books/ pads for those two words will be very difficult, isn't it ?
In electronic devices you have search function, just type the word in the search and you get what you are looking for

I have been known to search through 20 freaking legal pads looking for my AOL Password ...

You need to get a yellow legal pad and index all your legal pads

Maybe you should "help" one of your competition to test it then lol
I know an article directory that could use some assistance as they seem to be loosing traffic. Or this guy by the name of Mike has a forum that he is loosing $40k a month on - he might value some extra rankings.

Exactly why I dislike "marketers" - I know many followers and newbies will think that is true but sorry I know better. The site is built on joomla and phpbb - BOTH FREE OPEN SOURCE CODE.

How would you lose money on a forum? Other than hosting expenses, of course, which would be minimal unless you had a large membership. And if you have a large membership and are losing money, then you sure are doing SOMETHING wrong...lol.
Why would anyone believe such a stupid statement?

Why do people believe 90% of the posers and wannabes online that rent high end cars and houses and take pictures to show they have money ???
Why do people believe 90% of the junky sales letters out there trying to sell you the next big thing ???
Why do people blindly follow losers and wannabes that obviously do black*hat marketing ???
They do it because they must have something to believe in and because 500 others say it's good or the poser is real then the newbies think it is true. Deep down they want to believe it anyways but with those 500 blind people saying it true then people think it is...
When you get to be on the "status" Mike is you can say you spend $40,000 a month and people will think it is true. Especially those that do not understand true website development.

To be technically correct he did say as James put it that he spending $40k a month not "losing" it.
I have little doubt that he does spend that much ... however, I should imagine that covers all his product creation etc and not just his forum. |

$40,000 a month... That site would be far more active than what it really is.. Fact if someone that just pays for hosting has a forum that is just as active (if not more active) as his then there is something wrong with someone's marketing plan.
Not to mention his site is not even custom coded, when he closes the site for "upgrades" those are free upgrades from the open source company. Sure he probably over pays jason but not to the tune of $40,000
Search listings - there are a few good ones but nothing to really brag about, I know I did the keyword research on his domain. He owns about 2,000 keywords in google which is decent but pretty poor for spending $40,000 a month.

All of my concepts and copywriting starts out on pen and paper, along with ideas. Then, I implement them online.
