I hired dani4800 to program a wordpress plugin for me back in late Feb. The guy asked me to pay him half of what I owed him upfront before he started the project. Dani4800 quoted me a total price of $400, and the time line would be 8 days.

Well, dani4800 emailed or PMed me a week or so later telling me he had to charge $200 more and extend the dealine to 14 days.

I thought okay no problem. I just figured it was a bit bigger project then what he originally thought. Then the deadline went by, so I asked dani4800 about it and where he was with the project. He assured me several times that the plugin would be complete within a couple of days.

A couple of days went by, and guess what? The project was nowhere near finished. We ended up playing atg for 2 1/2 more months, with him telling me it'll be done in 24 hours, then a couple of days, and so forth. And the sad part about it is he kept lying about when it was going to be do for 3 months now, and it is like nowhere finished yet.

Dani4800 doesn't think there is anything wrong with that and will not refund my money. He says he wants to get paid for the work did so far, and I say he's missed the deadline and is trying to make me pay for an incomplete plugin.

He not only screwed me out of money, but several otherrs too.

I put this post up no to complain really but to warn other people about dani4800 from DP forums and other forums.

I suggest people stay far away from this guy - matter of fact run like crazy from him. Dani4800 is nothing more then a scammer of the worse kind.

And if any of you want to help me get the word out about this guy, post this message on your blogs and forums.

I was hoping some of you guys from AP were going to get on it hot and heavy.

My main concern is letting others know before they get rooked too.

Hey james, tell me something - How come that thread over at http://www.articlesproductions.com/forum didn't get listed yet in the serps for dani4800? I was surprised that it hadn't yet.

It's indexed .. not once but twice -

404 Not Found

Now ranking is a different story due to the many 3 and under letter words...

LOL!!! Why does google say 404 on the link, the results are there....

Hmm .. it only took a few minutes for this pot here to show up in the serps under dani4800.

Who knows Lol. Google is messed up these days.

Btw, where did you get that code from this forum or yours?

In the post it states: content visible to registered users only - in both boxes.

I saw the content when getting ready to quote you.

Anyway I was wondering if you were trying to tell me something without coming right out and saying it.

Oh My .... lol - I just copy and pasted the text from the first 2 listings in google which is my forum in #1 and #2 spot...

Maybe you have some kind of plugin to block text ...lol I think it started with a # pound sign ...

That's never happened before. I mean I post links all the time, and you have been too.

Hmm ... now this one has me puzzled.

The only thing I can think of is that the html in this forum is disabled. It runs by BB code. But the tags in your post is [ html] and [/html ]

Did you use the html tags?

I took those tags out and the descriptions, and the links showed just fine.

You had to have put those html tags in. Lol don't use them in this forum otherwise you'll get the same problem.

Well, everything showed up but the parsed URL in my browser.

Wonder why the URL didn't parse the way it normally does. It could have been a hiccup.

Those plugins or Mods I have on this forum have been here forever - like at least for 2 years so I wouldn't think it is one of them.

You were right about a Mod or plugin causing the problem.

It was that Hide BB code Hack/mod that was doing it. I changed my cache settings so the pages would come up quicker for everyone, and that setting should be set to 0. If it isn't, it creates problems with some of the threads.

I just uninstalled the darn thing.

That problem was driving me up a wall lol.

Lol yeah, plugins are something else sometimes. If they go bad or are incompatibale with another Mod they wreck havok. The problem is hard to track down and fix.

Yes, you posted a trackback because I got the email saying I have one. If you look at the bottom of this page past the posts, you with see the trackback link highlighted in light blue.

It's there lol ...

Thanks for the blog post, yeah I would appreciate anything you can post ... Just to keep it alive .. It's weird how I can post a full step by step money making plan on a forum and can't post on my own blog ..

No problem. And I was wondering that too when you mentioned it on AP lol. Now that definately makes no sense to me.
