Prospective Ideas for Niche Marketing Online
Everybody says they want to make money online. Well here's a simple idea someone can impliment by using offline companies or businesses and their affiliate programs while marketing online. It is nuche marketing at its best!
I usually go to Car dealerships, Optomologists (optometrist) and Dentists, and talk with them to see if they offer commissions. For instance, I have 7 dealerships in my area, and I get commissions from 5 out of the 7 car dealerships. I also have 3 optpmplogists, and get commisions for 2 out of the 3 for the amount of referals and sales I send them. Dentists work in the same way most of the time, especially now with the economy being so bad here in the US.
If you live in the city, they are usually more places to go that offer even bigger commissions.
The trick to catching most of them is to get to know them first. I usually purchase something or use my friends m family and neighbors to help me get my foot in the door where they work or may know someone that works in one of these businesses.
Once I tell them what I do, the owners, doctors or sales people usually don't have a problem agreeing to so,e type of compensation for these referrals, especially if they get to sell them cars, glasses, service, or whatever.
My smallest commission is 2% but when you bring in someone that purchases a car say for $25,000 the 2% is a pretty good deal considering I don't do much work.
I market for these referrals online with niches sites, and Geo target the sites for the specific area I live in. Plus, I use word of mouth when I'm in public circles. For instance, when I hear that someone in the group needs a new car, I rave about either my dealership or one of the one's I am marketing. Usually someone in the group puts in their pitch for that dealership too which makes it more believeable. Then I simply pass out a business card to them from the one I am pushing.
You can pretty much market all of these types of businesses in the same manner. The best part about it is when you have both the online and offline marketing going at the same time, the commissions pile up and become more steady.
There are plenty more types of businesses out there in everybody's neighborhood to get commissions from, but most people don't know how to go about asking the businesses, or even if brick and mortor businesses offer commissions.
Lol I started doing this type of marketing in 1998 when I was selling specialty shoes, boots, clothing, etc ... online and sending checks to the companies so they can place the orders. Now it is so much easier not that the Internet has developed more, and you can get paid twice as much!
