Hey,

Has anyone been over to the Warrior Forum (Internet Marketing Forum) today? I noticed Allen's notice a few minutes ago stating that the forum is returning back to paid status - meaning people have to pay a set fee to get into the forum, unless they are a member of the War Room.

Seems to me, members have to pay a set fee to get into most forums relating to Internet Marketing these days. Matter of fact, there aren't too many of them that are free at the moment. Either the forum is attached to a membership fee, or you have to pay to post depending on the forum.

Allen was saying it should cut down on all the spam, and scamming going on. I think he has a point. Many Internet Marketers were telling people to post in forums to get their sig files seen when they wrote ebooks and reports. The truth is, that's only a small fraction of what forum marketing is, and how to go about it.

Plus, I think many people have learned how to game the buy, sell & trade forums, and have scammed millions from people. This economy seems to be bringing them out of the woodwork too.

I hope this forum doesn't have to set a fee when people join. It's one of th few true Internet Marketing Forums that is still free to the public. Lol maybe we'll get more traffic this way.

That's interesting about the WF. Making it a paid forum would be a quick and easy way to cut out the spamming and the less-than-ethical marketers. I haven't been there is a couple days but I'll check it out. Some time ago I did purchase my access into the War Room. Like you've told me, it was worth it.

I would have to say that may increase the traffic here to the Marketers Space Forum. This may, although, lead to some additional "hooligans" hanging out here. Time will tell.

Hi Jason,

I'm glad you got into the War Room way back when. There's a ton of excellent info in that forum, and it is well worth the asking price. Matter of fact, I was shocked to find out that Allen was selling subscriptions or memberships that cheap.

Btw, I didn't know this when I first wrote the above post, but the warrior forum is still free. The free members just don't have the perks that we do like running a WSO, putting up a blog, and running their own social group on the forum.

Lol that was a good move on His part though cause it cut down on have the scammers and spammers in one shot I think.

I have noticed the rapid influx of new War Room members as a result of Allen's change. While I agree with Allen that it will help...eventually, I see War Room posts for now are getting watered down just a tad.

The WSO I would say is about 5% of value, we will see if the change makes some difference over there too. Used to be a 'special offer' was a Special for Warriors only.

With that said, the War Room is still highly valuable and one can find some darn good specials, just takes a little weeding out of the garbage...

There are many Internet marketing forums that remain free. Not all of them are 100% IM but do cover the topic significantly. If the WarriorForum wasn't so popular then they likely would not be successful in charging a fee. The value in paying to continue using that site is not necessarily the information provided (since that info is available on many other sites) but rather the large audience.
