Default .org vs .net

Hi folks

What is a better choice for a domain, .org or .net?

This domain would be for a keyword rich, product domain to drive traffic to a best selling Amazon product. I'm thinking .net would be a better choice but I thought I'd ask you guys the experts

BTW the .com version is parked. Which is good, no direct competition for a .net or .org version. Right??

Thanks for your input.

JB

Hi Jason,

Personally, I like the dot org over the net, but both do about the same job as far as notoriety goes. It used to be that the org domains had more weight to them, but anymore, it doesn't seem to matter as much as it used to.

I am not a domain expert, but I think the .net might be better off professionally since you will be promoting a commercial product and not a non-profit.

But sometimes you just have to pick what looks/sounds best.

But, in my bias , I would register the .org and point it to the .net, which would hold the content.

But again, I am a little biased (though like it )
