Default Maximize Conversions Through Pre-Testing

Testing content and media is extremely important to make sure you are optimizing your message. I use both markiter, and Google Web Optimizer.

Markiter is a great way to easily pre-test concepts that I am going to use, and get feedback. It's particularly useful when I don't have a ton of traffic coming to my site, but need data and feedback.

Google Web Optimizer is good for tweaking my site, and understanding how my traffic responds to the overall layout etc.

The downsides are that Google Web Optimizer takes a while to setup and use, and I am potentially wasting traffic (and conversions) on poor performing media/content.

Markiter is a great way to narrow my ideas, and quickly test videos/images/headlines before publishing them to the world.

Do you guys use Markiter or Google Web Optimizer? What other testing tools are out there?

Hi Frank,

Welcome to the forum!

I use Google. but never heard of the other site.

It wouldn't happen to be your site now would it?

Btw, be careful of dropping links in your posts. The members here have a habbit of checking domains, and reporting them to the Admins and Super Mod if they belong to the OP.

Thanks for the welcome...glad to be here.

I apologize for the misunderstanding. My intention was not to have this post come across as spam. I thought this forum was a way to share tools and ideas to benefit everyone here. I started this post to primarily learn from the members here to see if there were other services out there related to testing that I didn't know about. I felt it was appropriate to get the ball rolling with services I use. The Markiter guys are friends of mine. Perhaps I should have mentioned that in my original post, but it has helped me, and thought that it might help others here who are looking for alternatives to pre-testing.

Hey Frank,

First, you're welcome, and yes we're glad you are here too.

Secondly, well, it was a misunderstanding on my part then, not yours. This is indeed a forum where you can share tools and ideas so everyone benefits. It's just that spammers get so out of hand these days, it's hard to tell who posts legit URLs and who is doing the spamming, so we sometimes react first with new members rather then give them the benefit of the doubt.

Beings how you appear to be honest in saying the Markiter site belongs to a friend of yours, go ahead and re-edit your post so the link is active.

Anyway, thanks, I appreciate you drawing it to my attention, and hope to see you stick around.
