Default Where do you buy your domain names?

Hey everyone just wondering where most people buy their domain names and what you pay for them. I've mostly bought mine from Go Daddy. I've been able to google for discount codes and get them from about $7.

Is that a good deal?

Thanks everyone,

Jason

Yes I think that $7 is a good buy. It really depends on what you have with the name. I sell domain names [url]www.StellarDomainRegistration.Com] ".com" is $7.47 and you get a mess of free stuff, including a Web site, email that is for you@yourdomain, coming soon, a starter page that you can make original, a free blog and a photo album. Those are some of the highlights. I think there is a per year fee of 25 cents. You can purchase by the year.

The freebies are not exactly free there is some advertising for my site on them.

I've set up a small site for my husband and you can see the advertisement at Welcome to www.Laughingwolf.biz, and you can see a starter page at stellarmajyk.com. A coming soon page is set up at handcraftedincense.com and a domain for sale can be seen at www.lasvegasmailminder.com. I've not actually done any blogging, although I should, but when I tried to set it up it was very easy.

Hey Majick,

Good to see you in print again.

Thanks for the resource. We can always use ones that are cheap, and in house.

I buy all my domain names from GoDaddy.com because they are well established, organized, they have lots of extra services and have a pretty good customer service department--even though they are not the cheapest on the net.

Red face Re: Where do you buy your domain names?

Hi!

I always register with Godaddy.
Their support is pretty fast and there is a lot of help info on the internet, since it's the most used.

They offer you a lot of useless promotions during the checkout process tho

Have a great one!

Tangerine

Hi Tangerine,

Welcome to the forum!

Although we do appreciate resources, I've edited out the url you posted here for now because the url ran to your site. Because you are new to the forum, we would rather you placed urls to your sites in your sig file instead of in the actual posts.

To get your sig file to show up when you post, you have to post 10 comments in the main discussion forum. Once you do that, it will show up fine.

Here's the rules and faqs page so you know what's going on, and how to post in the future: MSF Rules and Faqs

Thanks ...

Yeah, I know you were just trying to help, and as mentioned, we appreciate resources. But, according to the Whois dtata base that domain (the url you posted), and the domain extension you used in your email address to register to the forum is registered by the same person.

So beings how you used that email address, I have to assume that you are the registrant of it - are you not?

If not, and if you can explain why the same name is used for both domains, then I apologize and you can post the link again.

Thanks ...
