Default Finding a project partner

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to suggest to those that are new to internet marketing and want to start a blog, eBay store, affiliate site, review blog or whatever is to find someone else with similar interests and join forces on the project. Even if the both of you have little experience or no experience there are several advantages to finding a partner for your first project. Some include...
  1. Like the old saying goes.. "Two heads are better than one" This is true even if you're both new to IM'ing. Each person can be assigned with learning an aspect of the project and then "teach" what they've learned to the other partner.
  2. You'll either need to spend money to build content or spend time creating yourself. Two people splitting either the cost or the time can help out if you don't have a lot of either.
  3. It's always good to have someone else to bring a different perspective to the table. You can bounce ideas of off each other and see if your ideas are realistic or not.
  4. Even if your both new, each party is bound to have some skills the other doesn't have. Maybe one of you is good at writing, good with video, understands business law, good with graphics, etc.
  5. Building a relationship will help you learn from your partner. The above skills can be taught to each other. This will add to your skills sets and this will benefit you forever. Anything that will shorten your learning curve is a good idea.

If you're asking "Where do I find someone to work with me on a project?" I'd suggest you get active in forums just like this one, and just ask if people are interested in a Joint effort on a certain project.

Me and Shane have recently joined efforts on a project and although we both have hectic schedules with either jobs, off-line business, family, etc we're making some progress. Another benefit I didn't mention above was having a partner will help to keep you accountable. It's different answering to another person why you haven't made progress than just answering to yourself, so-to-speak.

Good Luck,

Jason

Hey newbyiiir,

I would do a search on Google for sites or boards that offer partner connection services if it were me, and then I'd specifically target the local of Nigeria.

Here in the US, I've been known to appraoch business partners by visiting their place of business, and setting up an appointment to speak with them directly. Most approaches are done offline rather than on when you are talking about financial backers.

Try looking around your local area to see what you can come up with.

Other than that, I would have no idea.
