Social Bookmarking is a powerful way to help you move up in the SERP's. I'm more specifically talking about using Digg. As some of you may know I started a blogger site that reviews different home beer brewing kits.
Anyway this site is maybe a month old and I've been able to get to the first page of google on for the keyword phrase "coopers beer kit review". I'm number 6 out of 322,000. Not to bad for only being an infant site.
All I did was, I wrote the blog entry and focused on those keywords. Then I Dugg this page - shortly after my Digg submission was ranked on the first page. then my actual review blog entry started to creep up. Currently the actual review blog entry is #6 and my Digg Entry is #11 (out of 322,000)
I did the same for my Mr Beer brewing kit review blog entry and currenlty my Digg entry is #11 out of 735,000 results (a little more competition). I'm going see if the blog entry will follow the same pattern as the other review blog entry.
Either way I think it's worth utilizing the stronger Social Bookmarking sites because it seems to have help me move up in the SERPs.
