Something you can do to get some targeted traffic to your site or blog is go to Yahoo answer and search for questions that are relative to your site or blog. Answer some questions w/o anything in your the reference field and about every 4th or 5th question you answer put a link to your blog or site as your reference. (Bottom line don't be spammy) I've had a couple hits on my new blog with this tool.

I haven't experiemented with this idea much but this could be an excellent source of information if your trying to determine whether or not there is a market for something.

To test this, I asked if people thought a beer brewing kit would make a good fathers day gift and I got lots of responses rather quickly (topic of my new review blog). You could use this as part of your market analysis.

Any of you used this tool? I'd be curious to hear if others have had success with Yahoo Answer and getting traffic.

This seems to be another great internet marketing resource Jason. I haven't used it very much yet, but many experienced marketers always mention Yahoo Answers as top resource and good way to get a feel for a niche. It can also act as an idea generator for product creation and is something I'll be using in the future. The fact that you can also generate targeted traffic to your website is another advantage.

Yea bolte yahoo answers is a good medium to get traffic to your website also it gives cool solution's for your doubts in it i have dealt many of my problem's at yahoo answers so a great way to go with yahoo answers.

If lucky enough, one can get great help at yahoo answers, though quite a few answers to queries are useless. But still perhaps the best place on seeking opinion. Wiki and Askville also seem to good.

I used to get lot of answers from yahoo friends but now i am not going to that site anyhow knowing something always gives more energy , i know many of them looking for a traffic but they don't have the idea about the marketing conditions but you have proved practically and given more examples to them.

I think you said correctly thinking about the particular product , whether the product has market now or not so that really makes sense and sound good to know.

This is a really great idea, I am going to try this next time I have some free time and want to stir up a little traffic to a particularly good blog post of mine!
