One more post from me and then you all can jump in
There are special events on the calendar that you can take advantage of. For instance, the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and the 2008 Presidential race made some people a lot of money. But August was the wrong time for Olympic Planning and late October/November was the wrong time for Election products. So, here's a look at what's happening in 2009:
January 20 - Barrack Obama's innauguration
January 26 - Chinese New Year/Year of the Ox begins
January 27 - Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band release "Working on a Dream" (okay, no one else on here probably cares about that, but I do and it's my list

).
February 1 - Superbowl in Tampa
February 8 - Grammy Awards
February 12 - Abraham Lincoln's 200th Birthday
February 12 - Charles Darwin's 200th Birthday (I had never thought of those two people in the same breath before

).
February 15 - NBA Allstar game
February 17 - Analog broadcasts stop in the US (TV sales anyone)
February 22 - Oscars
March 28 - Nicolodian's Kid's Choice Awards
April 2-5 - 100 Hours of Astronomy - cornerstone project of the International Year of Astronomy
April 4-6 - NCAA's Final Four
April 16 - Yankees open their new stadium
October 2 - The host city for the 2016 summer olympics will be announced
As you can see, I was able to find more information on events that were closer to us and nothing really significant after October. But, if you are operating on a calendar that is 10 weeks ahead of the calendar everyone else is on, you will begin to see IM opportunities.
Okay, I'll shut up now
