Getting Traffic from Stumbles
Me and a friend of mine partnered in putting up another forum besides this one. One of the things we've been experimenting with is getting paid traffic from Stumbles.
What we found out was, when directing traffic to specific category related posts we our ROI was way lower than if we directed the traffic to the forum using the "Forums" category.
For instance, we targeted out campaigns at Politics, Christianity, Athiesm, etc ... and ran 1000 people to specific threads that related to these categories. We got no sign ups at all. Matter of fact, we were rejected for some of the categories and told we'd do better picking "Forums" instead. Okay no problem right? We did in fact chose the Forums cat, and we already got 3 people to register out of 250 people sent.
If any of you use Stumbles for traffic, you should understand what I'm talking about.
I'm not saying we don't need to test more, but I am saying this is the 4th time I used Stumbles for getting traffic, and wasn't disappointed.
It's a way to get traffic very cheaply as apposed to some of the other paid services. I think we paid 5 cents for each visitor. But even if we get one visitor a batch to register, it's worth it in the end to get long time posters.
Has anyone else here used Stumbles for paid traiffic?
What have been your results - good, bad, or indifferent?
