Looking to promote the forum
We are looking to try and attract new members to the forum through a variety of ways, such as classified ads, article marketing and social networking.
If anybody can think of other ways that we could do this promotion then please feel free to chip in.
Also if we have any great copywriters out there that would be willing to help out by designing a great looking ad describing the benefits of this forum and why people should join then that would be much appreciated.

I've an idea, through which new members will come here and they in-turn bring many with them.
Just create a contest zone, and there you should tell the members to refer others and when they refer the new member, they themself should have minimum of 10 quality post to send referrer link and the referred member also should have quality post to win the contest.. 
Another way is by creating contest whee number of quality post are counted

Maybe you could sponsor someone to wear your T-Shirt on American Idol then!

Did you honestly think I was serious? Man, you can't take a joke. I have a couple incentive sites too so please don't even go there with me.
And yeah, that's a good idea advertising like that. I usually hit the laptops up in Sam's, Office Max, Staples (when I can), and Wally World. Cell phones would be good too if they had chips in them while sitting on the racks.
