Default Some spammers never learn

I got this email today that is a well know phishing scam. Lol I went to the person's UTL where the link in the email got redirect to, and low and behold his account was suspended. Gee, I wonder why that happened. Some people never learn. If I had much to say about these crooks I'd make sure every last one of them were fined steeply.

Be on the lookout for emails like these. These are phishing emails and the person sending them wants to get a hold of your personal information like to your banks, creadit cards, and payment processors such as Paypal accounts.

Here is a prime example of what one looks like if you are not sure (all links have been broken deliberately):

Quote:

paypal dot com/en_US/i/logo/paypal_logo.gif>

Encryption is Only the Start

At Paypal, we want to increase your security and comfort level with every transaction. From our Buyer and Seller Protection Policies to our Verification and Reputation systems, we'll help to keep you safe.

Thanks for your patience and understanding as we work together to protect your account.

Sincerely,
Paypal Account Review Department
Paypal Company
If you look at the link they are asking you to click, you will notice a whole other domain in the URL other than Paypal's. That's one of the biggest things to notice. Another one is the fact that they didn't bother to trademark or copyright it at the end. That is something Paypal always does.

Also, never ever does Paypal start their emails with lines like "Encryption is Only the Start" or end them signing off with "Paypal Company". At least I've never seen them do it before, and I've been with them since their inception almost.

Yup, I too never click on any link in my mail..
Also, if I click it by mistake then I don't try to login as there are many phishing websites in net..
One more thing, for newbies, if you click the link, then don't forget to see the URL,phishing sitr url will not be same as that of original site, there will some difference.

Any of those paypal type scams are sent to spoof@paypal.com......

They say they want them and always send a thank you....

Also got a spam mail today with a redirect type URL...clicked it and the host company said "suspended for spamming"
loved to see that...
