Man, we had a tornado touch down about a block and a half from my house last eve. I have debris all over my yards (front and back) and some siding down.

Guess you could say we were very blessed in not losing our homes on this block.

Anyway, I will be poping in and out today and tomorrow. Most of us neighbors are banning together to help clean things up, and off assistance if we can.

Yes, it was too close to home. And no, we didn't see any safes or money one.

But we did get a lot of metal and plastic our way.

Sorry to hear that. Have fun with the clean up. Had one rip through my back yard one time. took years to get it all cleaned. Of course, had a 22 acre back yard at the time. lol

Yeah thanks! It's quite a mess, and it will take a long time to get things back to normal somewhat. We did get most of the trees cut up and out of the way. The tough part is being their with the neighbors while they go through the debris to see if they can salvage some of their belongings.

It was a blessing no one was hurt - they just lost a lot.

Btw, wide open areas aren't good. tornados can build up speed too quickly and run across open fields and stuff.
