Default My New Year Resolutions

Just wondering if anyone here makes New Years Resolutions or if you like me and have broken just as man as you've made lol.

Seriously though, just wondering if anyone is willing to share any resolutions or just some goals or areas of extra focus in there life, whether it be improved health, relationships, self improvement, etc.

I have some goals and a list of "things to work towards" in '09, mainly some books picked out to read, and some to reread. I also have some health goals in mind (THis is almost taboo), some weight loss, run another 1/2 marathon this spring.

I'll probably give some more details to my resolutions after I hear what others have to say.

Take Care,

Jason

Hi JB,

Sure, I have 2 main ones. One is to lose about 40 lbs I picked up since I got sick, and the other is to take my business to the next level, by spreading out a little more.

I'm already working on both of these since late Nov, so I have a running start. I've been hitting the gym about twice a week, and put up the two forums, and hired 2 people on to do various jobs.

Looks like you have some good resolutions for the up coming year. Good for you, and I hope you stick to these.

My resolutions are very similar to Mary's.

The first is to more fully develop my business. My husband (a lawyer) is going back to school in May (to become a Doctor, go figure) and I either have to fully support us or get a job. So, I've got about 4 months to either make enough money on a recurring basis to support us at a student lifestyle (which we already know is going to be a big cut) or get a job.

The other resolution I have is to lose weight. I have a specific amount in mind, but don't want to post it. I have put on so much weight it's scarry! And, now is the time to turn it around.

I've broken too many so I don't make them any more. I just try to do my best with what I do and keep things going. Just try and make this day better than the one before.

My resolutions:

Lose 25 more pounds (I've already lost 40 since October thanks to Atkins).

Stop drinking that much. Actually, I don't drink that often, but I tend to overdo it every once in a while, and of course make an ass of myself.

That's it. If I just do those 2 things right, I'll be mighty pleased with myself.

In new year i and my husband will search for the new job. And we will decided that we increase our savings. I have decided we will save some money and purchase a car with that money and enjoy a life. Hoping that New year will bring lots of hapiness to all my family and friends who were very sick out of recession.
