So what kind of music do you like? How much music do you have on your computer? What do you use to listen to your music? Do you like to listen to music while you are working on your websites or does it just distract you? Do you sing? Do you play an instrument?

Basically, anything you want to say about music, put it in this thread.

I like classic rock from the 80s: Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Foreigner, Def Leppard, Van Halen.

I have about 3.5 gb on my laptop and lots, lots more on the desktop. I use iTunes.

Usually I don't listen to music while I work, except for late in the evenings when I am finishing things up and winding down for bedtime.

I do sing, but I'm definitely not a soloist. And I can play piano, but I'm a better singer than I am a piano player.

Man I absolutely love the smilies

I'm a big fan of pretty much all music, except new country music.

I like all kinds of metal, most genre's (Metallica, Static X, God Smack, Disturbed) I just saw AC/DC on Jan 7th - lots of fun

I also like Tom Petty, Neil Young, We saw Neil Diamond a couple months ago.

I've had a guitar for about 10 years. I've taught myself enought to play some Green Day, Tom Petty, and some other easy stuff.

Most of the music I listen to is through my MP3 player when I run. I don't usually listen to music when I work. I'm to easily distracted.

I used to sing Kararokee, when we didn't have kids and went to the bar often. Now I just sing to myself when I along. (Less suffering for others).

Fun topic, thanks for asking.

Jason

Hi Buffy,

I like all kinds of music other than Opera! I can't stand it.

Yeah, I like the groups you mentioned, but I also like the old hard rock and Jazz too. Plus Bob Dylan, and other folk music.

Btw, I see everyone is enjoying the new smilies ... very cool!

I neither sing nor play any instrument, though I am very fond of music. i have over 2000 songs on my laptop and most of it is light classical instrumental music. I do love vocal music too but when I am working, the wordings tend to distract. Light instrumental music is soothing and helps me work better and improves my output.

I used to sing and play violin instrument when I used to be free. I am very much fond of music, in my Computer I have nearly 15000+ songs of my own regional language, I love to listen to the depression based songs, which gives us the message . Now a days a lot of songs with no meaning in that songs are being composed by the music director, as elders used to say old is gold, coming to the music point of view it is true
