I hope very few of you read this post, but knowing many of you as I do I’ve no doubt you’ll log in at least once or twice throughout the day, some even putting in a couple of hours work while dinner is cooking!
One of the absolute best perks of our industry is the fact that we get to work from home, and spending time with the people who matter. It can be tempting to jump back in and fire off a post, or clear out your emails, or prepare for the coming of 2012 and all that that entails!
A wise (red) man once said, “With great power comes great responsibility”. Balance is a crucial component to the success of most things. While you need to be dedicated and driven toward your purpose, you also need to know when to separate yourself from your work and relax.
I know some of you have accomplished some amazing things this year, and others have felt they fell short somehow. We have a brand new year just around the corner, and I have no doubt we’ll do some amazing things with this time, and in our businesses.
Here’s wishing you and your families all the best, not only for today… but for tomorrow as well!
